Chiaroscuro orange

Sardinian orange wine — only a handful of people make it on the island, and fewer still from a native grape. Gianluca Mulleri has poured his craft into this one.

100% Nuragus, ipermacerato: twenty-two days on the skins. A red-wine technique applied to a white. Unfiltered, like everything the estate makes.

In the glass — Passion fruit bursts on the nose. Exotic fruit follows on the palate like a breath of tropical air, bound together by a pinch of salinity.

At the table — Small plates and tapas. Burrata, artichokes, sundried tomatoes.
