Ideal with roasted and grilled red meats and with washed rind cheeses.
GRAPE VARIETY - Nebbiolo 100%
SOIL - Clay-limestone.
VINIFICATION – Crushing, destemming and cold maceration for a few days. Alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled steel vats for about a week. Post-fermentation maceration for 10 to 12 days in order to obtain the best extraction of aromatic and phenolic substances.
AGEING - 12 months in combined barrels and 6 months in oak barrels.
COLOUR - Ruby red with garnet undertones more evident with ageing.
FRAGRANCES - Fruity with aromas of transformed red fruits.
FLAVOUR - Balanced with a beautiful roundness and a retro olfaction on the fruit.
SERVING TEMPERATURE - 18 to 20°C.
ALCOHOL CONTENT - 14%
