Bonazzi - Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva

GRAPE VARIETY - Rondinella 10%, Corvina 40%, Corvinone 50%.
CHARACTERISTIC - Hillside vineyards located in the heart of Valpolicella, 100 quintals per hectare.
TYPE OF VITICULTURE - Pergola.
HARVEST - Last decade of September but can go until the end of October.
VINIFICATION - After a rigorous selection of the most exposed and mature bunches or the most suitable for drying, they are placed in wooden boxes and taken to the drying shed. After a long drying (about 4 months) in a ventilated and dry environment, the bunches are pressed. The must is then fermented slowly with a maceration of the skins for 25 days.
MATURATION - Three years in barrels, 10 to 18 months in barrels and 4 months of ageing in the bottle.
COLOUR - Intense garnet red.
FRAGRANCES - Intense, full-bodied, mellow, warm, alcoholic, with memories of flint, notes of hazelnut and oak.
FLAVOUR - Dry, moderate acidity, pleasant tannic background, austere and full-bodied.
SERVING TEMPERATURE - 16-18°C.
ALCOHOL CONTENT - 16.5%
