Bel Monte - Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Bianco DOC
According to legend, Lacryma Christi wine owes its name to the tears Jesus shed on Vesuvius when Lucifer stole a piece of paradise to shape the Gulf of Naples. His tears descended on the lands of Vesuvius and led to the formation of the vines that still cover the volcano.
GRAPE VARIETY – Coda di Volpe Bianco 80%, Flanghina 20%.
CHARACTERISTICS – 90 quintals per hectare.
COLOR – Straw yellow with golden highlights.
PARFUMS – Intense, pleasantly vinous bouquet reminiscent of Vesuvius broom, with a triumph of fruity notes of apple and peach.
Flavor – Dry and slightly acidic, well structured, with a remarkably persistent floral aroma.
SERVING TEMPERATURE – 14°C.
