The weeknight red, more or less by definition: single-variety Montepulciano under nine euros that asks for neither a decanter nor an occasion.
In the glass — Deep ruby red. Fruity nose with herbaceous and floral shading. The tannic frame makes itself felt but stays balanced, over black cherry, blackcurrant and blackberry.
At the table — Grilled red meats, pasta, pizza.
Serving — 16–18°C. 13% vol. 75cl.
